The Maggotkin of Nurgle are the devoted servants of Nurgle—the god of plague, decay, and rebirth. They believe that decay is not an end, but the beginning of new life. Every wound, every sickness is a blessing from Grandfather Nurgle, who loves his children unconditionally.
Their armies are made up of Putrid Blightkings, Plaguebearers, Great Unclean Ones, Nurglings, and other grotesque creatures that crawl, breathe rot, and spread contagion. They are slow but nearly indestructible—their bodies are bloated, resilient, and full of infections.
The Maggotkin are not just daemons—they also include mortal followers who have accepted the plague as a gift. Their presence literally changes the landscape—the ground rots, the air fills with flies, and reality itself unravels. They are the bearers of the Great Cycle, where death begets life, and pain turns to ecstasy.
