The Cities of Sigmar represent the ordinary mortals who, under the banner of the God-King Sigmar, set out to conquer and re-settle the wild realms. They are soldiers, priests, artisans, and pilgrims—humans, aelves, and duardin who build free cities in the midst of inhospitable lands.
Their armies are composed of Freeguild Steelhelms, Ironweld Cannons, Whisperblades, and the Marshal Command Corps. They are guided by faith, determination, and tactics. In battle, they rely on discipline, firepower, and the support of priestly cults like the Great Wheel, whose matriarch is the legendary Pontifex Zenestra.
Each city is a beacon of civilization—surrounded by walls, protected by Stormcast Eternals, and connected by Realmgates. They are the last bastions of order in a chaotic world. And although they are neither divine nor magical, their courage is just as powerful as any magic.
