Raven Guard were the XIX Legion of the Legiones Astartes, led by the mysterious and melancholic primarch Corvus Corax. They hail from the moon Deliverance, originally known as Lycaeus, where Corax led a revolution against tyranny. Their fighting style relies on stealth, rapid strikes, and precision destruction.

During the Horus Heresy, the Raven Guard were one of the three legions betrayed on Istvan V during the Drop Site Massacre. The legion was nearly destroyed, but Corax survived and initiated a desperate effort to rebuild the legion through genetic experiments, which resulted in tragic mutations. They continued fighting as the shadow vengeance of the Imperium.

Raven Guard are known for Mor Deythan Strike Squads, Dark Fury Assault Squads, and Kaedes Nex – an elite assassin. In the Horus Heresy system, they have access to rules such as “Decapitation Strike” and “Liberation Force”, which support infiltration, sabotage, and surgical strikes.
