Necron Immortals
Elite shock troops of the Necron Dynasties, who have marched across the galaxy for millions of years, sowing destruction with their devastating weaponry. As an untiring phalanx, they form the backbone of every invasion force, resilient against even the heaviest fire.
The Steel Elite of the Necrons
Immortals possess the classic, menacing skeletal form of their race. Their elongated limbs are joined by metal bolts, and their heads are recessed into massive armor with industrial shoulder guards. They proudly bear their dynasty's iconography on their chests, while wielding technologies that dismantle enemies at a molecular level.
Role in the Necron Army
Immortals fall into the Battleline or Elite category (depending on the edition), serving as a more durable and destructive alternative to standard Warriors. They are ideal for holding key objectives on the map, from where they can control the battlefield thanks to their superior range.
Key Features
- Reanimation Protocols: Just like other Necrons, Immortals can repair themselves mid-battle and rise from the dead.
- Hardened Armour: Their T5 (Toughness 5) allows them to withstand hits from heavy bolters and similar weapons.
