The Ossiarch Bonereapers are the masterpiece of the Great Necromancer Nagash—an army of undead warriors created from the bones and souls of the fallen. Every soldier is meticulously shaped with magic and inhabited by a blend of souls that have been reforged for a single purpose: to serve without question and without emotion.
Their society is hierarchical, precise, and ruthless. At their head stands Mortarch Orpheon Katakros, a military genius who leads legions like the Mortek Guard, Kavalos Deathriders, Necropolis Stalkers, and Gothizzar Harvesters. Each of them is part of a necrotical machine that knows neither fatigue nor doubt.
The Ossiarchs enforce the Tithe of Bone—a tax they collect from the living. If it is not paid, war comes. Their Mortisan priests not only conduct rituals but also repair units directly on the battlefield and create new ones from fallen enemies. They are merciless but not chaotic—they represent death as order, structure, and absolute control.
