Astra Militarum, also known as the Imperial Guard, is the backbone of the Imperium's military might. Comprised of billions of soldiers from thousands of worlds, it is an army of ordinary humans facing the extraordinary horrors of the galaxy – lasgun in hand and a prayer to the Emperor on their lips.
Their strength lies in sheer numbers, heavy machinery, and unwavering discipline. From Cadian Shock Troops to elite Kasrkin, from Leman Russ tanks to Basilisks – the Astra Militarum is the Hammer of the Emperor, while the Space Marines are his scalpel.
Each regiment has its own culture, training, and tactics. Some worlds produce the Death Korps of Krieg, others the Valhallans, Mordians, or Vostroyans. Together they form a mosaic of human courage that stands against xenos, daemons, and traitors alike.
