Imperial Agents are a diverse group of units serving the Imperium outside the regular structures of the Astra Militarum or Adeptus Astartes. They include Inquisitors, Assassins, Navigators, Deathwatch, and other specialists who operate where absolute loyalty, discretion, and deadly efficiency are required.

Each agent is highly trained, equipped with unique weaponry, and authorized to act in the Emperor's name. Inquisitors have the authority to purge entire worlds, Assassins such as Vindicare, Callidus, or Culexus eliminate key targets with surgical precision. Deathwatch combats xenos threats, while Navigators guide ships through the Warp.

Imperial Agents are not an army in the traditional sense – they are elite units that can be attached to other Imperial factions. Their presence on the battlefield is rare but decisive. In the new edition, they have their own Combat Patrol, Codex, and detachments such as Veiled Blade or Elimination Force.
