– wild sons of Fenris, the wolf warriors of the Imperium
Space Wolves, also known as Fenris’ Wolves, are one of the most unique chapters of the Adeptus Astartes. They hail from the icy world of Fenris, where only the strongest survive – and this ferocity shapes their combat style and culture. They are warriors who fight with a roar on their lips and wolf fangs at their side.
Their Primarch Leman Russ was known as the Emperor's executioner, and his sons inherited his relentlessness, honor, and brutality. Space Wolves are distinguished by a strong sense of personal glory, brotherhood, and protection of the weak. They reject blindly following the Codex Astartes and instead follow their own traditions and the structure of Great Companies.
On the battlefield, Space Wolves are relentless – units like Blood Claws, Grey Hunters, Wolf Guard, Thunderwolf Cavalry, or the savage Wulfen charge into combat with untamed fury. They feature iconic wolf motifs, furs, runes, and totems. They are champions of close combat, hunting enemy leaders and spreading fear among opposing ranks.
Space Wolves are more than soldiers – they are legends whose stories are told across the galaxy. They are wild, proud, and loyal – and their battle cry echoes: „For Russ and the Allfather!“
