Enamel Splashes & Medium Density Mud Texture (35ml)
Enamel Splashes – Realistic Earth and Mud Splashes
Enamel Splashes are textured weathering effects designed to create splashes, earth deposits, and medium-textured mud. They make it easy to replicate the dirt that accumulates on wheels, tracks, mudguards, undercarriages, and the lower sections of vehicles when moving through terrain.
The individual shades represent different types and conditions of terrain – from dry, dusty earth to dark, damp soil. The effect can be applied with a brush or tool, or used to create small, irregular splashes, allowing you to gradually build up the intensity of the weathering.

Dry Steppe and lighter earthy shades are ideal for dried soil, dust, and subtle terrain weathering. They work well on models operating in dry environments and as lighter base layers for weathering effects.
Loose Ground, Turned Dirt, and other medium earthy shades are suitable for typical splashes of dirt and disturbed soil. Apply them irregularly, focusing mainly on wheels, tracks, mudguards, and the lower sides of the vehicle.
Damp Earth and Wet Ground are ideal for darker, fresh weathering and environments with damp or wet soil. By combining them with drier shades, you can create a natural transition between older and freshly deposited mud.
Start with a small amount and build up the weathering irregularly in thin layers. Concentrate the effect mainly in areas where earth and mud would naturally accumulate as the vehicle moves – around the wheels, tracks, mudguards, and lower parts of the body. For fine splashes, you can flick the product from a brush; for heavier deposits, apply it directly. As this is an enamel effect, you can soften the edges, remove excess product, or adjust the consistency using a suitable enamel thinner.
