Brushes for layering, highlighting and more precise painting
Layer brushes are designed for more precise work after applying the base colours. They are ideal for layering shades, building highlights, edge highlighting and painting smaller areas of miniatures where good control over the amount of paint is important.
Their finer tip provides greater precision than Base brushes while still holding enough paint for smooth work on armour, fabric, skin, cloaks and other details of the model.
Allows you to apply thinner layers of lighter colours and gradually create more natural transitions across the surface of the model.
The precise tip makes edge highlighting easier on armour, weapons, vehicles and other areas with clearly defined edges.
Ideal for faces, fabric, smaller armour panels, decorations and other elements where a Base brush does not provide enough precision.
A medium Layer brush is a versatile choice for everyday layering and highlighting. Smaller versions offer greater control when working on fine edges and small details, while a larger Layer brush is useful for broader areas where you still need more precision than a Base brush provides.
