About the product
This medium-grade drcený korek with a brick texture is an excellent all-round addition for any modeler building urban scenes, street barricades, or custom figure bases. The grain size is carefully selected to perfectly match the true scale of shattered clay bricks and mid-sized plaster chunks left behind after building destruction. Natural cork is fantastic to handle, completely dust-free during application, and retains a flat matte finish that is crucial for structural ruins. Thanks to its highly porous nature, it absorbs filters, oil washes, or dry pigment powders like a sponge, allowing you to easily shift the brick tone to blend with the dust or soot scheme of your overall build.

| Tip | This medium grain size works best as a transitional element. When building a rubble pile, first place a few large chunks of the Thick version on your base, then scatter and naturally blend them using this Medium version. Drizzle the entire pile with a flowing capillary fixer like Sand & Gravel Fixer. Once dry, wash the area with a thinned down dark grey wash to pool in the pores of the cork and create deep shadows, then finish by dusting with a brick-red pigment for a true-to-scale matte effect. |
