Plasticard, plastic profiles and other construction materials are useful for creating custom parts, modifying models, conversions, terrain building and scratchbuilding. They allow you to create panels, walls, supports, frames, structures and other elements precisely to your own design.
Different sheet thicknesses and profile shapes are suitable for both fine details and stronger structural parts. The material can be cut, drilled, sanded, shaped and joined using a suitable plastic cement.
Plasticard sheets are ideal for creating panels, walls, floors, covers and other flat sections of custom modelling structures.

With plasticard, it is worth measuring and marking the dimensions carefully first. Thin sheets can often be scored with a modelling knife and then snapped cleanly, while thicker material may require several light cuts or a fine saw. Clean up the cut edges with a file or abrasive.
