Ammo brushes
Brushes for model painting, details and weathering
AMMO brushes are designed for everyday model painting, fine details and more advanced modelling techniques. You can choose from different sizes and shapes for acrylic paints, washes, filters, oil effects, pigments, weathering and working with textures.
The right brush can be used when building and painting miniatures, military models, vehicles, aircraft, terrain and dioramas. For the best results, choose the shape and size according to the specific technique and the size of the area you are working on.

Round and versatile brushes for applying main colours to miniatures, vehicles and other modelling surfaces.
Precise brushes with a fine tip for small elements, markings, edges, controls and other detailed work.
Brushes suitable for controlled application of washes, filters and other more fluid modelling products.
Suitable for creating dirt, rust, streaking, oil marks, stains and other effects of wear and ageing.
More durable brushes are useful for working with pigments, dust, earth, mud and textured materials.
Practical for larger surfaces, blending, filters, smooth transitions and spreading modelling effects.
For general modelling, a medium round brush for base colours, a smaller brush for details, a separate brush for washes and a more durable brush for pigments or weathering will usually be enough. You can add a flat brush for filters, blending and work on larger surfaces.
It is best to use separate brushes for acrylic paints and for enamel or oil effects. Pigments, textures and intensive weathering can wear fine bristles more quickly, so avoid using your best detail brush for these techniques.
