Grass Mats
Grass Mats – ready-made grass and vegetation for bases and dioramas
Grass Mats and ready-made grass elements allow you to quickly create realistic vegetation without the complicated process of working with individual static grass fibres. Our range includes classic grass tufts, two-colour and layered variants, irregular wild vegetation, and ready-made terrain surfaces for forest, steppe and rocky landscapes.
Individual variants differ in height, density, texture and colour tone. This allows you to match the vegetation to both the season and the environment – from fresh spring grass through summer meadows and savannahs to dry winter or autumn landscapes. Ready-made vegetation elements are ideal for miniature bases, gaming terrain and larger dioramas.

Ready-made self-adhesive tufts are one of the easiest ways to add three-dimensional vegetation to your scenery. Variants such as Light Green, Middle Green or Small Mixture are ideal for miniature bases, between rocks, along paths or as additional detail on larger grassy areas.
6mm-high tufts create a more pronounced vertical texture. Shades such as Vibrant Spring, Mid Summer, Late Summer, Autumn Field or Wild Grass Savannah allow you to match the vegetation to a specific environment and season.
Layered tufts combine different vegetation heights to create a more distinctive 3D profile. They are ideal for wild meadows, forest edges, overgrown areas and scenes where the vegetation should appear denser than standard single-layer grass tufts.
Weed Tufts are ideal for creating more natural and less maintained vegetation. The range includes variants from Intensive Spring and Spring through Summer Green and Late Summer to Early Autumn, Autumn and Winter, allowing you to match the appearance of the vegetation to the entire scene.
Two-coloured tufts combine multiple vegetation tones within a single element. The colour variations create a less uniform and more natural appearance, making them ideal for spring and early-summer meadows, miniature bases and other natural environments.
Pinewood Forest Base, Spring Steppe, Stony Steppe or Stony Mountain Ground allow you to quickly create a complete terrain base. Instead of building the ground from separate soil and stone materials, you get a ready-made texture that can then be enhanced with tufts and additional vegetation.
Start by choosing the environment and season you want to recreate. For a fresh spring scene, use brighter green shades; for summer, choose medium greens and mixed tones; and for late summer, savannah or autumn landscapes, combine more muted greens, beige and brown. Use classic tufts as smaller accents, taller 6mm variants for more prominent grass, and Layered, Two-Layer or Weed Tufts wherever you need denser and more irregular vegetation. For the most realistic result, combine several types and heights – and avoid placing vegetation too evenly. Instead, concentrate it around rocks, walls, paths and other areas where plants would naturally grow.
