Army Painter – Paints and Tools for Miniature Painting
Army Painter offers a comprehensive system of paints and hobby tools for painting miniatures, entire armies, and individual display models. You can choose from traditional acrylic paints for brush painting, fast Speedpaint colours, airbrush-ready paints, washes, metallic and effect colours, as well as complete paint sets.
Each range is designed for a different painting style. Warpaints Fanatic provide excellent control for traditional layering and highlighting, Speedpaint 2.0 speeds up painting with a transparent shading effect, and Warpaints Air are ready for use with an airbrush. Simply choose the range that best suits your preferred technique and the result you want to achieve.

Versatile acrylic paints for basecoats, shadows, highlights, and fine details. They are ideal if you want full control over each stage of the painting process and prefer working with traditional painting techniques.
A great choice for quickly painting larger numbers of miniatures. Speedpaint creates a coloured base and natural contrast between raised and recessed areas of the model in a single coat, helping you significantly speed up the painting process.
A range designed for airbrush use. Ideal for smooth basecoats, colour transitions, larger surfaces, and other techniques where you want to take advantage of the speed and precision of airbrushing.
Washes are thin paints designed to flow primarily into recesses and around details. This makes it easy to emphasise the relief of a miniature and create natural-looking shadows without having to paint every recessed area individually.
Metallic colours are ideal for weapons, armour, and other metal parts, while Effects expand your palette with specialised finishes and visual effects. They are perfect for final details that add extra character to your models.
If you do not want to select individual colours, choose a paint set. Smaller sets are practical for beginners or specific painting styles, while larger collections provide a broad palette for long-term use across a wide variety of projects.
For traditional brush painting, start with Warpaints Fanatic. If you want to quickly paint a larger number of miniatures, take a look at Speedpaint 2.0. For airbrushing, choose Warpaints Air. Add washes for easy shading and detail definition, and choose metallic or effect paints according to the specific model. If you are just getting started with miniature painting, a suitable paint set is often the easiest option, giving you several complementary colours in one convenient package.
