Photoetch Burnishing Fluid solves a major headache that every modeler working with photo-etch faces—the ultra-smooth surface of bare brass, which rejects normal paint and scratches off easily during handling. This fluid works through controlled chemical oxidation, microscopically etching the metal surface, darkening it to a slate-black tone, and creating a perfectly matte micro-texture. Because it is not a physical coating, it adds zero thickness to the parts, ensuring that even the most delicate engine mesh or instrument panel faces remain completely sharp. Furthermore, cyanoacrylate glues grip this treated micro-surface much better, making the assembly of tiny metal structures significantly easier.
