Setting in the Warhammer universe
In the era of The Horus Heresy, the Legio Custodes serve as the personal bodyguards of the Emperor of Mankind Himself. Their units deploy in the galaxy's most critical conflicts, finding purpose in both the historical battles of The Horus Heresy and the dark future of Warhammer 40,000 under the Adeptus Custodes banner.
Significance of Gyrfalcon units
Gyrfalcon-pattern jetbikes utilise a powerful plasma drive capable of supporting not only the massive armour of an elite Custodian, but also exceptionally heavy mounted weapons. Sodality units function as a rapid reserve, screening allies from encirclement and relentlessly pursuing fleeing enemies.
