Zombie Burrito is an energetic party game from the creators of the popular Exploding Kittens, combining lightning-fast card collecting with actual dodgeball using soft foam burritos. Players split into a Survivor team and a Zombie team, pass cards in real time, and fight in burrito battles for survival and victory points.

Zombie Burrito builds upon the mechanics of the popular game Throw Throw Burrito and sets them in the humorous world of a zombie apocalypse. Participants draw and pass cards to their neighbors simultaneously with the goal of forming matching sets of three. Playing battle cards immediately launches a duel with foam burritos. However, a hit does not just bring a point penalty, but can also turn a living player into a zombie and shift the balance of power right in the middle of an ongoing round.

How a game is played
- Simultaneous card passing – All players draw from their personal draw piles and immediately pass unwanted cards to the neighbor on their left.
- Forming sets of three – Players look for sets of three matching cards that award points toward the final score or trigger a battle.
- Triggering a battle – Once a battle set is played, the card play pauses and the participating players try to hit opponents with a foam burrito.
- Hits and infection – A hit player receives a wound token, and upon infection, joins the Zombie team; once all tokens are depleted, points are tallied.
