Effects Brushers are enamel weathering effects featuring a long, precision brush integrated directly into the cap. They allow you to quickly and precisely create fresh engine oil, fuel stains and wet surfaces without having to prepare the product on a palette.
The long applicator makes it easy to apply small amounts of the effect precisely around engines, fuel caps, joints, mechanical components and other areas where real operating fluids would naturally appear. The enamel-based formula provides plenty of working time to adjust, spread and soften the effect.
For fresh oil stains, leaks and greasy marks around engines, gearboxes, bearings and other mechanical components. Apply locally to areas where oil would naturally accumulate or leak on a real machine.
For traces of spilled and leaking fuel around fuel caps, filler openings and fuel systems. Helps create irregular stains and streaks typical of vehicles and machinery in active use.
For creating the appearance of moisture, wet areas and freshly damp surfaces. Use it on vehicles, wheels and tracks, terrain and dioramas wherever you want to distinguish wet areas from their dry surroundings.
Apply a small amount of product only to areas where the particular fluid or moisture would naturally occur. Concentrate Fresh Engine Oil around mechanical components, Fuel Stains around fuel filler openings and Wet Effects on surfaces that should appear damp or wet. Build up the effect gradually using several thin, irregular layers. As these are enamel products, you can adjust, soften and clean the effects while working using a suitable enamel thinner.
