Ink
Inks – Intense Colours for Tinting, Shading and Airbrushing
AK Interactive Inks are intensely pigmented colours designed for bold tinting, shading and other colour work on miniatures and models. Thanks to their high saturation, they allow you to enhance a colour tone, create deeper shadows or give an already painted surface a stronger and more distinctive colour character.
Inks can be used on their own, mixed into acrylic paints to increase their intensity, or applied with an airbrush. The wide colour range, from yellow, orange and red through blue, green and purple to browns, black and white, makes them suitable for fantasy, sci-fi, historical and many other modelling projects.

You can apply Ink over an existing colour to change its final tone. It is ideal for unifying colours, increasing saturation or creating subtle colour variations without having to repaint the entire surface with an opaque colour.
Deep Blue, Night Purple, Brown Black, Wood Brown and other darker shades can be used to deepen shadows and increase contrast. Apply Ink in a controlled manner wherever you want to maintain strong colour even in the darkest areas of the model.
Primary Yellow, Fire Orange, Blood Scarlet, Pure Magenta, Nature Green and Ocean Blue allow you to create extremely vivid colour effects. They are ideal for fantasy and sci-fi models, energy effects, magical effects and other eye-catching areas of miniatures.
You can add a small amount of Ink to acrylic paint to increase its saturation or adjust the final shade. Add it gradually – due to its high intensity, even a small amount can significantly change the character of the mixture.
Inks can be used directly in an airbrush without additional thinning. They are ideal for colour tinting, smooth transitions and effects where you want to gradually build up intensity while making use of the model's existing base colours.
The range is not limited to bold colour shades. Vantablack can be used for extremely dark shadows, Intense Sienna and Wood Brown for warmer and earthier tones, and Inmaculate White for specific highlighting and mixing applications.
Ink is highly intense, so start with a small amount and gradually build up the desired saturation. If you only want to change the tone of an already painted surface, work in thin layers and allow each layer to dry before applying the next one. When mixing Ink with acrylic paint, add it in small amounts, as it can change the shade very quickly. For airbrushing, Inks can be used directly without additional thinning, allowing you to control the final colour intensity gradually with several light passes.
