Matt Shaders
AMMO Matt Shaders for shadows, colour modulation and quick effects
AMMO Shaders are transparent shading paints with very fine pigment, designed for quickly creating shadows, highlights, colour transitions and other effects on models. They allow you to alter the tone of an already painted surface, enhance volumes or add greater depth to a model without complex layering of conventional paints.
Shaders can also be used to lighten or darken colours, create fading, dirt, wear or subtle filter-like toning. The range offers a wide selection of matt shades, from light and flesh tones through greens, blues and browns to dark shading colours.

The transparent nature of the paints allows you to gradually build deeper shadows and colour transitions without completely covering the original colour underneath.
A Shader can subtly shift the tone of an already painted surface and work in a similar way to a colour filter. It is suitable for unifying or adjusting the overall colour tone of a model.
Lighter or differently toned shades help simulate sun-faded paint, aged finishes and other subtle signs of use.
Brown, grey and dark shades can be used for subtle dirt, deposits, shadows around details and other quick weathering effects.
The fine transparent paint makes it possible to create smooth effects and gradually increase their intensity without quickly covering the details of the model.
Shaders are designed for easy airbrush application and do not need to be thinned for normal use. The airbrush can be cleaned with water after use.
Transparent Shaders make it easy to control the intensity of the effect. Start with a light spray and add further layers only as needed. This allows you to gradually deepen a shadow, change the colour tone or create weathering without making the effect too strong after the first application.
