Pigments (35 Ml)
Pigments – realistic dust, earth, rust and patina
Pigments are fine dry powders that allow you to create natural-looking dust, earth, soot, rust, deposits and other weathering effects. Thanks to their matt, subtly textured finish, they are ideal wherever paint alone is not enough to realistically reproduce real dust and dirt.
You can apply them dry with a brush for subtle dust effects, layer several shades or fix them in place for a stronger and more durable finish. They can be used on miniatures, vehicles, tracks and wheels, buildings, bases, terrain and larger dioramas.

Light Dust, Airfield Dust and other light shades are ideal for creating subtle dust effects on wheels, tracks, undercarriages, lower areas of models and surfaces exposed to dry environments.
Europe Earth, Dark Earth and other earthy shades are ideal for soil, terrain deposits and dirt on vehicles. Combining light and dark pigments helps create more natural depth.
Light Rust, Medium Rust and other rust tones can be layered to create different shades of corrosion on exhausts, metal structures, vehicles, buildings and other surfaces.
Black, Carbonized Black and other dark pigments are ideal for soot, smoke stains, exhausts, burnt surfaces and dark operational grime.
City Dark Dust, Concrete, Brick Dust and Factory Dirt Ground are ideal for urban streets, ruins, factories, concrete, construction sites and industrial dioramas.
In addition to classic weathering shades, you will also find vibrant coloured and metallic pigments. Use them for special surfaces, patina, highlighting details and creative effects on miniatures and dioramas.
For your first application, choose a shade that matches the model's environment and apply a small amount dry with a soft brush. Gradually work the pigment into wheels, tracks, the undercarriage, corners or terrain, building up the intensity in thin layers. If you want the effect to withstand handling better, use Pigment Fixer. For a more realistic result, combine several similar shades instead of applying one uniform layer.
