Scenery brushes are designed for working on terrain, bases and other larger modelling surfaces where you need to apply paint quickly or work with more pronounced textures. Their larger working area makes it easier to cover broader sections of a model efficiently.
They are ideal for ruins, buildings, rocks, gaming terrain, large bases and other projects where a fine miniature brush would be unnecessarily slow or too delicate.

Well suited to stone, masonry, wood, earth, ruins and other strongly textured surfaces found on modelling terrain.
Scenery brushes are ideal for jobs that would put unnecessary wear on finer Base, Layer or Detail brushes.
A Scenery brush is particularly useful when painting larger terrain pieces and bases. Use a larger size for broad surfaces and a smaller version for more detailed areas. For fine details on terrain or the miniatures themselves, switch to a smaller Base, Layer or Detail brush.
