Brushes for shading and applying fluid Shade paints
Shade brushes are designed for working with fluid shading paints that flow into recesses and help bring out the details of a miniature. Thanks to their greater bristle capacity, they can hold plenty of paint and distribute it evenly across the surface of the model.
They are ideal for armour, fabric, fur, skin, terrain and other textured surfaces where you want to quickly create depth and emphasise the structure of the model.
The greater paint capacity helps the brush hold enough fluid paint for comfortable application across detailed and textured areas of the model.
Shade paint can naturally flow into recesses and help define folds, gaps, textures and other details.
Well suited to armour, cloaks, fur, skin, terrain and other surfaces where you need to work with a larger amount of thin paint.
A smaller Shade brush gives you better control when shading individual areas of an infantry miniature. A larger version is better suited to monsters, vehicles, terrain or broader surfaces. When working with Shade paint, avoid allowing too much paint to pool in one area.
