Synthetic Brushes
AMMO synthetic brushes for details, larger areas and weathering
AMMO by MIG synthetic modelling brushes are available in a wide range of sizes and shapes for different painting techniques. In this category, you will find round brushes for precise work, flat versions for larger surfaces and specialised shapes for lines, blending, stippling and weathering.
Synthetic fibres are a practical choice for everyday modelling and are well suited both to regular painting of miniatures and plastic models and to techniques that can put more wear on a brush.

A versatile choice for detail painting, smaller areas, precise brushstrokes and general work on miniatures and models.
Well suited to larger surfaces, filters, blending and smoothly spreading paint or modelling effects.
The long, fine shape makes it easier to paint thin lines, cables, trims and other elongated details.
Shaped brushes help when working in corners, along edges and in areas where precise control of each stroke is important.
Specialised shapes are useful for stippling and creating chips, rust, dust and other irregular effects of wear.
Chevron, Saw and other wider brushes are useful for working on larger surfaces, textures and modelling effects.
For general painting, start with a round brush in a suitable size. Add a Flat or Filbert brush for larger areas, a Liner for fine lines and a specialised Stippling or other shaped brush for weathering. You do not need to buy every type at once – choose according to the techniques you actually use when building and painting models.
